Welcome to many newcomers who made their maiden voyage around the twists and turns of Heffron’s criterium and run circuit (sorry about the headwind!)

“Shout outs” for several notable performances including:

A tight race for first place between Jarred Shein (1:02:40) and Anthony Biggs (1:02:56) followed by Lisa Marangon (1:04:17), who cranked out an avg. 37.2kph over the 20.4km bike segment!

Among the teams, Braver and Bloch Jnr are the first duo ever to shatter the clock in sub 1-hour (58:58), with Brayden breaking speed limits at an avg. 40.7kph (30:03). Also, in the team category, Seb Ruiz shaves valuable seconds off his own records on both the 2.5km and 5.0km runs at a cool 3:22/km and 3:44/km respectively

Finally, a returning Casey Sher represents all youngsters on this morning as the only junior entrant of the day. He takes on the strenuous kids’ course in 29:53
